"I am convinced that I speak for all exhibitors of the internationally leading fair trade of the wind industry HUSUM WindEnergy, when I congratulate Hermann Albers on his convincing re-election as BWE President", said Hanno Fecke, Managing Director of the Messe Husum, on learning the voting result. "To be re-elected with 98% is a very convincing result", praised Fecke.
On Monday he said in Husum that this is a thank-you and also a duty. But from his experience of the long years of cooperation of BWE with the globally most important wind energy trade fair, Hermann Albers will carry out all aspects of the voter mandate to steer the fortunes of one of the worldwide most important industry associations successfully.
"It is also thanks to Hermann Albers that the HUSUM WindEnergy was able to negotiate the development into the leading trade fair worldwide.
The coming trade fair, which in 2010 again will bring the entire spectrum of all the industries participating in the wind energy to Husum, is more or less fully booked." This is evidence of the attraction of the industry-leading trade fair as a combination of mechanical and plant engineering, finance, politics and social event, even compared with other trade fairs or conferences.
With the HUSUM WindEnergy, Husum is the international marketplace that sees the closure of essential deals and the forging of international cooperations for the industry. Here the development of the whole industry is shaped sustainably. "One who always has driven this matter convincingly, was Hermann Albers", Fecke emphasised. "And the new energy, which in March attracted around 16,000 international visitors to the exhibition grounds in Husum, without him as one of the initiators, would not be what it has become: first an exhibition of all renewable energies and in future also and particularly the internationally leading trade fair for small wind energy systems", Fecke added.
The Messe Husum is looking forward to the continued close cooperation with the energetic BWE President Hermann Albers and hoping for a long-term cooperation. "Our common goal is to continue to increase the quality of the HUSUM Wind Energy and the new energy and to attract even more international visitors than ever to Husum. App. 25,000 visitors from almost 70 countries are a big incentive", said Fecke.
